Decided to give Les Ami a try for lunch based on positive reviews from friends. They were able to accommodate our large group + dog outside on a Sunday afternoon. Since we hadn't eaten here before, our hostess gave us a wonderful rundown of the menu. Based on her recommendations, we tried the potato ball appetizer (yes, they were better than Portos), the salmon couscous salad (a wee bit too lemony), a cauliflower pita wrap and a lamb shawarma wrap, the house rice, and the chicken shawarma quesadilla. We all enjoyed our food. Memorable mentions would be the house rice and cauliflower pita wrap. We would eat here again!

We visited for Valentine's Day and they got us right in at our 7 pm reservation. We sat up at the bar and found the place charming. It's small inside but the outdoor patio is large. I'd definitely like to sit out there for lunch when the weather warms up. Anywho the patio is heated and they have blankets for guests too! Service was good but they were packed for the holiday. We waited over 45 minutes for our meal, but thankfully the food was tasty. I had as house salad with chicken and a side of hummus. My boyfriend did the steak pita quesadillas with rice. All was very flavorful and the perfect temperature. Give it a try!

Very cute restaurant with fun decor and a sunny patio in downtown Fullerton. The service was very friendly and accommodating in confirming whether dishes contain dairy. I enjoyed the Fattoush salad with shawerma lamb (no dairy). The crispy, thin pita chips add a nice crunch and satisfy you, and the bright, herby dressing pairs well with the rich, savory flavor of lamb. Crave worthy. They also have "regular American style" coffee that's not on the menu, and I thought the way it's served on a tray is a cute touch. While somewhat pricey, I would come back here again.

Great atmosphere, great food, convenient parking. We came here for lunch on a weekend and sat outside. Our server was very attentive. The baba ganoush was great! Pita was fresh and portion was fair. For entree we shared an appetizer sampler and lamb wrap. The wrap was smaller portion than I expected, but overall all was delicious. Would definitely come back here

Fun Middle Eastern Experience..... Pros: Excellent food. Big menu. Very friendly service. Cons: Parking can be tough during weekend evenings Star Ratings: - Overall: 5 - Location: 4 - Ambiance: 4 - Menu: 5 - Food Quality: 5 - Food Portions: 5 - Service: 5 - Price: 5 - Value: 5 - Parking: 3 My wife and I were in the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles during the Veterans Day weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday in the family. On Saturday night, 9 of us went to a long time favorite restaurant in the heart of Fullerton.....Les Amis. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Location: Central. Right in the core of downtown Fullerton (which is also a con...see below). - Menu: Large. Les Amis bills itself as "Lebanese", but the menu had lots of Middle Eastern favorites from areas outside Lebanon. - Quality of Food: Excellent. My wife and I had the "Mediterranean Shrimp" platter ($31) which they describe as "skewers of shrimp with vegetables in a cayenne pepper, lemon zest marinade and garlic butter sauce accompanied by hummus, pita bread and side salad". It looked and tasted as good as it sounds. I don't know what other members of the family had, but everyone seemed satisfied. The table shared 2 plates of a dessert called "Chocolate Biscuit" ($9) which was pudding inside a soft biscuit served in bite sized pieces. It was mighty good. - Service: Very friendly. The owner's family took care of our large table and were always around to help out. - Atmosphere: Casual and popular. Most of the tables in the main room and large outdoor patio were occupied during our 90 minute meal. Nice vibes. - Parking: Plenty when it's not busy. Not much on a weekend evening. Cons: - Location: About a block from the Times Square of Fullerton which means the location is easier to find than parking on weekends.....even though there's a big lot right behind the restaurant. - Parking: See above. It just depends on the day and time. Overall, Les Amis is a fine choice for Middle Eastern food with a focus on Lebanese specialties.

Really cute, great food The service is a bit slow but it's just one guy manning the whole place for lunch. I loved my 4 appetizer plate, the cauliflower was great, the watermelon salad was bright and fresh, and the hummus and dips were delicious. I will definitely be back. Get the fries with the garlic sauce.

Finally got to try this place! Second time's the charm! We ordered two platters of chicken kebab and one plate of beef shawarma (not pictured). Both were great! The chicken was a little bit dry but overall great. The waiter was very patient with all of our questions and checked in on us as well. Great customer service experience. The vibes indoors were great as well, had a nice ambience and the decor was intriguing, tying up to a cozy vibe all around. I got the baba ganoush and it had a smoky eggplant flavor. The soup of the day was good as well, I think the waiter said that Wednesdays was more of a vegan day but other days, the soup can be meatier. It really had a variety of choices, from hummus or baba ganoush, basmati rice or house rice, to salad or soup of the day. Wonderful place! Oh and they also serve chips and hummus before your meal.

We did not expect service and food and ambiance to be so excellent here. It was a last minute decision to stop in to try Les Amis. The music playing outside caught our attention. Very relaxing type jazz music. There is plenty of seating outside, however, we decided to make ourselves comfortable at the bar for this warm Saturday evening. The inside is darker and more romantic but both inside and outside are good choices for either dining in options. Our super attentive and enthusiastic bartender Edward was our server for the evening. Always smiling and always checking in on us. I absolutely loved this service. We ordered appetizers and drinks for the evening. The Labneh and the Kraidis were our apps of choice. I was suprised with how much I liked the Labneh, Arabic cheese that tastes similar to sour cream. Of course, you need to like sour cream in order to enjoy this app. The Kraidis was a sauteed shrimp app and very delicious with that garlic flavor. We will be back to visit our new friend Edward real soon! Thanks for the amazing service and food!
